Teachers and Learning Outcomes

Welcome to the Privacy Enhancing Technologies course! Your teachers are Meiko Jensen, Leonardo Martucci, Tobias Pulls, and Simone Fischer-Hübner, with a guest interview by Steven Murdoch.

The course introduces security and privacy mechanisms and technologies and proceeds to focus on how security and privacy mechanisms can be used to solve practical and theoretical problems, along with discussions of their advantages and disadvantages.

 

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:

1. give an account of the basic security and privacy enhancing technologies,
2. relate security and privacy goals to mechanisms and technologies, and
3. explain when and how to apply different privacy enhancing technologies.
