When communication with other course participante through the CANVAS platform or through other digital media, please recall that you talk to a human being. I strongly recommend a polite, constructive communication style.As the course involves paticipants from diverse backgrounds with different professional focus and level of experience, it will help mutual understanding to include sufficiend context in your communication or feedback to peers so they can understand the context for your argument or suggestion.
Errors in course material
To report errors in the course material, please use the corresponding discussion section.
Teacher communication during for-credit course
The course instructor will only be available to registered for-credit students. The teacher will communicate through these activities with the course participants:
- by participation in on-line forum discussions.
- by answering publicly visible questions in a questions forum.
- by answering privacy-sensitive requests in personal messages (discussing matters of sick leaves, possible conflicts with course participants, and other personal matters).
